Proud to be associated with All India Radio

Years 1996 onwards This year I came first in Mumbai in the AIR Light classical category .

1998 as a casual announcer and also done recording dubbing mixing with tapes spools live announcements at Konkani section and later also as a singer.

 Happy to have performed live that is my first concert Raga Madhamad Sarang in 1999. And the second one was of half an hour.

Happy to have been interviewed also where I sang my own compositions.

Since I have also sung commercially some of that work also was played by All India Radio Mumbai.

It is the coolest place literally with the high Air conditioning.

My own vocal guru was working with AIR Mumbai as a Marathi announcer till she retired and she also had fine memories to share.

 She Mukta tai had given talks on noted singers Begum Akhter and Hirabai Badodekar .

Dear Sarala Tai had won the Thumri competition and performed often on the Radio.  She used to give a special program in Sangeet Sarita which was based on thumris natyasangeet in same raga.

Such lovely memories make me happy. I am happy my voice is approved with AIR as an announcers voice.
