A Salute

A salute to our great musicians singers or Vocalists.

Yes we were bowing to the,m laying carpets when they were about to step in.....

and Now we are watching their silence , tip toes,...sighs...are we ??

No am sorry to say we are not ....

since we are all busy ...and we have lots of things to pay attention too...

why am I writing this ?

recently I heard one really old vocalist is having a difficult times fighting with his past glory

tapping still on the walls of memory while he hardly is able to

listen to the tanpoora tunefully reverberating the raga tunes over tones choose what you like...

and SAD he has lost his singing voice too....:(

He has a family to support which he moderately is able to...

I have hummed couple of his bundishes via a friend who happens to be his disciple..

I wish to do the following, to start this chain, of passing our thanks, to HIM ....

the wonderful musical waves of this

musicians vocal expertise, that continue to peep in our memory lanes....

So I wish to hold sessions of imparting thumari bundishes in two hour in a daily session

and artist/tutor would be singing honarary...

whereas the fees charged would be collected and handed over as a humble thanks to THIS ARTIST....

another plan is a Autobiographical lecture on an artist and performance which would be

focused on the style of the above mentioned artist....
